ART SUPPLY SWAP
a semi-annual event
Artists from our region are invited to bring materials, tools, or any unwanted studio items in good working condition to give away or swap with others. Through the trading of supplies, we can create a web of connection throughout our arts community, foster our own practice, and find new inspiration.

ARTWRKD
STEAMROLLER MEMBERS’ Exhibition 2024
Steamroller Group's exhibition is a vibrant convergence of six diverse artists uniting six individual voices into one powerful, collective voice. Along with our individual work, we are presented our first collaborative piece, COLLECTIVE BODY. This piece was fueled by examining the most essential of all elements - the relationship - and resulted in forming a web of supportive and dynamic exchange. Creating art as a group is a challenging process of exploration and cooperation. This ongoing dialogue navigates the language of these specific materials - ink, thread, silk, natural dye, cotton, and wood. Through this process, a symbolic vocabulary of imagery, texture, and color has emerged, demonstrating the transformative power of collaboration
